Portland is one of the most hippest city in the US. It’s got a very laid back and chill vibe compared to it’s Big brother Seattle. Portland is very popular for it’s food truck scene (and food in general), along with it’s beer scene and strip clubs. It’s a city you definitely want to experience. Portlands coast has a ton of scenery, including Canon beach. Budget at least one week for Portland and surrounding area alone. And check out this list of things to do in Portland.
Alberta’s small town Banff is one of the most visited places in Alberta. Many of those beautiful mountain landscapes you see come out of Canada are located in Banff and its surrounding vicinity. In Banff, hiking trails, skiing, and other outdoor activities are very popular. The town itself is small and very charming. Banff also has a reputation of being the “Las Vegas of Canada” as well.
The capital city of Alberta isn’t likely a place that comes to mind as somewhere you’d want to visit with so many incredible choices in Canada, but that’s mostly because people don’t talk about Edmonton enough! Edmonton has got one of the best festival scenes in the summer months with something going on virtually every week. Along with a buzzing hockey team and the largest river valley in the entire world, there’s plenty to do to keep you busy for at least a few days.

Key West is a very popular vacation island located in Florida. It’s part of the Florida Keys and is also a popular cruise ship destination. The ocean life here is incredible with snorkeling and diving being two incredibly popular activities, where you get to see the incredible beautiful coral reef in this area. The island itself is incredibly beautiful because of the construction of homes in the area which are done in a pastel hued and conch style. The best time to visit is between March and May for lower crows and amazing weather, and best prices. The sunsets here are also amazing, check out this article on the best sunset spots in Key West.
